1. Pushkar Lake (Pushkar Sarovar)
Pushkar Lake or
Pushkar Sarovar is located in
the town of Pushkar in Ajmer district of the Rajasthan in India. Pushkar Lake is
a
sacred lake of the Hindus.
The Pushkar Lake is one of the most prominent spots of pilgrimage as well as the
site of the world famous Pushkar Fair. It gains importance among
spiritual travelers who aim to have a holy dip in the lake, which is considered
a holy place and the King of ‘Tirthas’. It is believed that having
a holy dip here is equivalent to doing meditation and prayer for a hundred years.
Hence, this is most frequented by people who follow a particular faith. For others
and including the religious people, this place is a beauty in itself. Surrounded
by 400 temples and 52 palaces, the lake still looks serene and

2. Brahma Temple
Brahma Temple is located in the town of Pushkar in Ajmer district of the Rajasthan
in India. It is also known as Jagatpita Brahma Mandir.
Those who follow Hinduism believe that Lord Brahma is the Creator
and worship him. In spite of the importance attached to Lord Brahma, there are only
three temples for him all over the world and only one in India.
The temple and its surroundings are unique. The temple structure is built of marble
and it is beautiful. Though Pushkar has many temples, Brahma Temple stands apart

3. Savitri Temple (Rope-Way)
The Savitri temple in Pushkar is located on the Ratnagiri hill which is a popular
pilgrimage site for the Hindus. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Savitri. It is
a very strenuous work to climb on the hilltop but it is believed that the harder
you work the more ‘Tapas’ are gained. In this temple you will find the idols of
both the wives of Lord Brahma named Savitri and Gayatri.
But as per tradition Goddess Savitri is always worshipped first and then prayers
to Goddess Gayatri are offered.
A rope-way is an easy and affordable way to travel to hilly locations.
Keeping this in mind, a new rope-way has been started in Pushkar. The rope-way has
been constructed at Savitri Mata Temple. With the help of this rope-way, now you
will be able to reach the 720 metres high temple in just 6 minutes.

4. Camel Safari
Pushkar is the land of the pilgrims if we are told to describe it in only a few
words. However, not many tourists know that it is one of the best places for
camel safaris in the world. From a few hours around the changing sand
dunes to a fortnight, the tourists can enjoy exotic camel rides throughout Rajasthan
starting from Pushkar to make their trip truly adventurous and extremely memorable.
November to February is the best time to go out for a camel safari.

6. Varaha Temple
Among one of the very rare temples devoted to the varaha incarnation of Lord

7. Rangji Temple
