2. Ranthambore Fort

Ranthambore Fort is part of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan declared as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Although nobody has been able to trace back exactly when Ranthambore Fort was built, it is believed to have been constructed in the 8^th century by the Chauhan Kings of Rajasthan.

3. Trinetra Ganesh Temple

Trinetra Ganesh Temple, is located in the city of Sawai Madhopur, in Rajasthan. The Ranthambore Fort located here, houses the Trinetra Ganesh Temple. It lies at a distance of 12 kms from the main town. It is one of the oldest temples in the country and probably the only one that has the presence of his entire family, including the idols of his wives, Ridhi and Sidhi, and their sons, Subh and Labh. The temple was constructed by the then royal King Hammir Dev Chauhan in the year 1300.

It is said that all wedding invitations from nearby places are first sent here, for the deity to bless the new couple.

The best time to visit is during the months of November to February. If you want to avoid crowds, visit during the weekdays. The most pleasant time is to visit in early morning or late afternoon, when the sun is not blazing hot.
